

Ned Collins
For the past two years, Mr. Collins has been a business associate at Idea Foundry, a business accelerator in
Pittsburgh. While going to Carnegie Mellon’s MBA program full time, he joined Idea Foundry to gain hands-on
experience with small businesses and the venture community. He has designed market entry strategies, investigated
markets and industries, evaluated venture opportunities, established sales strategies, and consulted on daily
operations.
Prior to entering graduate school in 2002, Ned worked at Lam Research as a consulting engineer. For this job, Ned
worked with semi-conductor companies to design and implement manufacturing steps. During his time at Lam, Ned
established a new technical support group responsible to solve all North American customers’ technical problems.
Prior to the engineering job, Ned spent 5.5 years as an Armor officer in the U.S. Army working in direct leadership and
project management roles. He left the military as a captain.
He holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business and a BS in Chemical Engineering from

David Harel
David brings to Reticle Partners over ten years of operational experience. He started his career in the Israeli Defense
Force as a combat officer. His last position was as Battalion Executive Officer where he had the direct authority over
1000-soldiers’ logistics and coordination. Following his military career, David led the spin off of a publishing company.
He grew the company from concept to 60,000 circulation and subsequently created succession plan for new
management to take over the company.
In the past years, David has been involved with numerous entrepreneurial activities as a consultant and investment
broker. Utilizing his network, he initiated the sale of an Israeli technology company to a major Japanese steel
manufacturer. He also worked for Frost & Sullivan, analyzing markets for growth opportunities in the industrial sector.
David brings extensive experience in operations, market analysis and management. He sourced, negotiated, and
closed investment for early stage companies, practicing the skills needed to make the partnership successful.
He holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business and a BA in Political Science and
Mathematics from Haifa University in Israel.
